I've (ST) been the unofficial non-leader of Northside Sunday nights since late 1997, I only say that to offer some history. Dave Roth has owned the bass gig since 1981 and Scott Callison has anchored the drums and percussion seat since 2001. We've been lucky over the years,..... we've enjoyed the talents, company and friendships of some great Atlanta muscians,.... Bill Sheffield, Donnie McCormick, Sean Costello, Bob Page, Frankie Moats, Eddie Tigner, Ross Pead, Matt Wauchope, Paul Linden, Jon Liebman, Lee Goodness, Nathan Nelson, Frankie Lee Robinson, Joe McGuinness and many more great guys, a few gals and countless fellow travelers.

The Sunday night band seems to inspire the imaginations of younger players, the Soul Shakers, Nathan Nelson, Joe McGuinness, Norm Vicky and our dear friend, Sean Costello have all shared their talents with us,.. and they give us constant inspiration. Mr. Frank Edwards shared the last few years of his amazing life with us on Sunday Nights on a bar stool just to my stage right, that Mr. Frank could enjoy the musicians we had and talk with us on breaks was a big deal to all of us. Donnie Mac found his way to our Sundays and astounded us with his heart, musicianship, stage ethics and his creativity. Sean Costello,.... we asked Sean to come down just after he'd quit the road, quit after a couple days working at Guitar Center and was figuring his next move. Sean played Sunday nights with us the better part of a year, those nights were magical. Sean and Donnie will forever be Sunday night bandmates. Thanks to all who've come down Sunday nights, Northside!.
